Description of the
Type Jungheinrich ETM A13.5; ideal stacker for narrow spaces and high heights. The truck is ready to go. Only the front left wheel should be replaced soon (Fr. 617.-). The original plastic wheel dissolves over the years. The stacker has stood most of the time unused. Usually a forklift of this type has an operating time of approx. 12,000 hours. This means that only 6.5% of the expected power is needed.
In contrast to lift mast trucks, which obtain their stability primarily from a counterweight, reach trucks are equipped with wheel arms at their front. The mast lies inside the wheel arms, i.e. is supported by the wheels.
When the load is picked up, the mast is pushed forward and can be lowered to the ground. It then lies freely in front of the forklift. After the load has been picked up, the mast is retracted and lies within the wheel arms again - ideal for pallet transport. The design means that a significantly lower counterweight is required compared to lift mast trucks, and the units can be built shorter. This creates the space gain required for the narrow world of racking.
